We at Manazil Interior’s are thrilled to announce our collaboration with AOD on a significant rebranding project located in the heart of Bambalapitiya, Colombo. As we embark on this journey, our focus is sharpened around two core tenets:
AOD tasked us with a twofold challenge:
1) To refreshingly rebrand the university and to contemporaneously overhaul its interiors.
2) Their aim? To seamlessly dovetail the institution’s ethos with modern educational trends.
With this understanding, we at Degani Interiors conceived the “Enthusiastic Evolution” concept, drawing inspiration from AOD’s dynamic curriculum and the vibrant energies of its student community. Through our design process, every brick laid and every color chosen aims to echo the university’s spirit and drive.
The project focuses on creating an environment that inspires and motivates young designers by carefully choosing colors that impact how people feel. The main colors used are orange and blue, each playing a different role.
Orange is a color full of energy, excitement, and optimism. It helps spark creativity and brings a lively, adventurous vibe to the space.
Blue, on the other hand, is calming and peaceful. It helps people feel relaxed and focused, adding a sense of stability and trust.
By combining these two colors, the space becomes both energetic and balanced. Orange brings excitement, while blue helps keep things calm. Together, they create an environment where young designers can feel inspired, focused, and ready to create.
